EDINBURG — Norma Mendoza De Garza, 69, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at South Texas Health System Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Garza.
Mrs. Garza is survived by her five children, Jose Luis (Maribel) Garza, Juan Jose Garza, Elizabeth (Eduardo) Gaona, Esmeralda (Ovidio Garcia) Garza, Issi Garza; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous siblings.
Visitation was Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service was Monday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
