Olivia Carranza, 93, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She is preceded in death

She is preceded in death by parents, Adalberto & Juanita Carranza; six siblings, Julian Carranza, Elvira Tijerina, Estanislao “Stanley” Carranza, Eva Veliz, Josefa Gomez, and Adalberto Carranza Jr.

Ms. Carranza is survived by four siblings, Eliza Carranza, Abel Carranza, Petra Carranza; Jose Emilio Carranza; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 12 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
