ROMELIA SOLTERO

AUSTIN - Romelia Soltero, 87, went home to our Lord Saturday, January 4, 2020, at her residence in Austin.

Ms. Soltero was born in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, MX.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Maria Chavez and Manuel Soltero; as well as her son Jesus Manuel de la Riva Soltero.

Ms. Soltero is survived by nine grandchildren, Joseph de la Riva, Lilybeth de la Riva, Jessica de la Riva, Jesus Antonio de la Riva, Lunnae de la Riva, Sol Constanza de la Riva, Oscar Maxximus de la Riva, Alejandro Prado, and Vanessa Prado; numerous great-grandchildren; and a daughter, Patricia Prado Tradd.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. funeral service Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment followed at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
