TEODORA HERNANDEZ RAMIREZ

Teodora Hernandez Ramirez, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at her residence in Edinburg.

Born in Uhland, TX to the late Jose Salinas Hernandez and Clara Bueno Hernandez. Teodora lived in Edinburg most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Ramirez; her son, Ruben Ramirez; grandson, Roberto Lopez; and four siblings, Sara Portales, Vincente Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, and Leandro Hernandez.

Teodora is survived by her four children, Ramiro (Teresa) Ramirez, Rene (Flor) Ramirez, Maria Gloria (Belia) Ramirez, and Rose Mary (Carmen) Ramirez; two brothers, Agapito Hernandez and Manuel Hernandez; grandchildren Bryan Ramirez, Michelle Ramirez-Lopez, Reggie (Laura) Ramirez, Melissa (Jaime) Ramirez and Belinda (Joe) Ramirez; great-grandchildren Jaime Ramirez, III, Brianna Ramirez, Mani Ramirez, Cielo Ramirez, Emma Ramirez, Alessio Ramirez, Ilianna Sofia Lopez, and Jacob Ramirez; and survived by her faithful canine companion Kaylee.

Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, January 1, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral services took place at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
