Blue Cities Teetering: New York among places where living unstable

If you own a car and want to move to Florida from New York, you don’t have to drive there.

A train line exists which will provide you a luxurious room and will also accommodate your automobile or pickup at a reasonable price. This train line only exists between New York and Florida. If you want to accompany your car anywhere else, you’re out of luck. Why is that? It takes a certain weekly volume to make a train with cars profitable. That volume exists between New York and Florida and nowhere else.

There are so many people (particularly elderly people) moving south from New York City that you can save wear and tear on your vehicle by putting it together with a couple hundred other vehicles on your passenger train.

They’re fleeing New York with its high personal state income tax, high personal city income tax, and sky-high property taxes (and heading for Florida with its zero state income tax and low property taxes).

Now, of course, the train is doing a land office business since New York City has elected a communist as mayor who is attempting to raise taxes even higher to fund proposed government grocery stores and a free bus system.

The rich are among the first to leave since he claims he’ll get his money by further taxing the wealthy. Top earners are leaving town, and most of them are heading for Florida.

Even leading television network stars are heading south where they’re saving millions of dollars while at the same time receiving enhanced city services. Interestingly, there has also been a 700,000 population shift in Florida from Democrat to Republican.

Meanwhile, on the West coast, San Francisco is struggling. Job creators are leaving for neighboring states (including Texas) at the same time as there’s been an influx of drug addicts now living on the streets. The addicts have come for a very good reason. The city is handing each of them a $107,000 debit card to cover their living expenses and drug purchases.

This is in addition to money provided by the state of California, as well as Federal spending. The city is essentially bankrupting itself to enrich drug addicts and the insane.

There would no doubt also be an auto train for San Franciscans except that local residents are moving to too many different states. The emigrants are moving toward a too diverse of an area. Rest assured, however, that they are moving.

Residents are fed up. Many of the sidewalks are so congested by tents and by the stoned that it’s impossible to even walk on them.

Many of the addicts have moved off the streets into local hotels and apartments (which have been turned into shooting galleries).

Over 600 people per year are dying from overdoses. There is no real effort to treat these individuals. None of the Democrat national leaders residing there has tried to make a difference even though Nancy Pelosi’s husband —who resides in the area — was attacked with a hammer by one of the ne’er-do-wells.

We have seen that government can make a difference.

President Donald Trump has cleaned up Washington D.C. through using the National Guard. He has also offered to help Democrat mayors across the nation bring law and order to their neighborhoods. Nearly all have refused.

Sadly, it is the policies of the blue cities which have often created the problems in the first place.

In San Francisco, for example, the decision not to prosecute anyone stealing under a thousand dollars has caused rampant theft from stores (to the point where many national chains have pulled out of the center city due to excessive shrinkage).

Free bail is another policy which has created lawlessness.
