More Than an Endorsement
The national press has recently reported that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. gave a speech suspending his campaign and endorsing Donald Trump. His speech, however, did far more than that. It is, in fact, one of the most stunningly important speeches that I have read during my lifetime. I strongly suggest that you download a written transcript of it from the Internet while it is still available. Nearly every paragraph within it contains extremely important information.
RFK, Jr. begins by noting that he attended his first national Democrat convention at the age of six and that he had sworn allegiance to the Democrat Party before he was old enough to vote. The party (at that time) was a defender of the common man, an opponent of censorship, a proponent of an unfettered and unbiased press, dedicated to peace, and opposed to big pharma and agricultural giants running roughshod over the people. The party was also committed to giving everyone the opportunity to run for office and freely express his or her political positions.
Kennedy goes on to say, however, that the new Democrat Party is now totally opposed to those ideals. He notes that the Democrat primary process has been rigged to prevent reform candidates from having a realistic chance. He notes that in the current primary, real debate was severely limited, the press was made an organ of the current Democrat Party, and people did not win their party's nomination by triumphing in debate or even by winning the majority of votes in the statewide races. The organization was totally in charge, and the concept of democracy was abandoned.
Robert Kennedy, Jr., went on to say that when he decided to run an independent race, his hundred thousand volunteers had done a mammoth job collecting over a million signatures to get him on the ballot in all states. The Democrat Party, however, took him to court time and time again attempting to invalidate signatures and keep him off the ballot. The party also weaponized government agencies to prevent both him and former President Trump from running.
Kennedy went so far as to liken the DNC's actions as closely resembling those of Vladimir Putin in Russia. Putin controls the press and intimidates or arrests opponents. The Democrat Party now does the same.
RFK'S speech wasn't so much an endorsement of Trump as it was a repudiation of the Democrat Party that his family had formally embraced.
There were, of course, bad Republicans as well, but Trump Republicans now stood for the common man, opposed oppression of the people, wanted peace, embraced debate, and believed in the sovereignty of the voters.
Kennedy went on to say that he had an extremely long talk with Trump and found that they were aligned on important issues such as peace, public health, and democracy. He went on to describe the public health crisis that currently affects millions of youngsters in the United States. He talks about fatty liver disease, prediabetes, and other chronic diseases that are caused by diet or food additives and are preventable. He mentioned that foodstamp foods for children consist of around 70 percent processed foods and lack vegetables. There needs to be a radical change in government- funded food programs to address this problem and confront the obesity that now afflicts well over half of the nation.
Robert Kennedy, Jr., concludes that he does not have a chance to win due to underhanded Democrat tactics and that he has been determined from the beginning not to be a spoiler. He therefore urges people in key states not to vote for him even if he is still on the ballot. He also dedicates himself to campaigning for Trump and agrees to serve the Trump administration by working to improve the health of youngsters.
In short, Kennedy endorses Trump and condemns the Democrats!
