Rallies End
During this political season Donald Trump has presided over nearly 300 massive rallies, some of which were attended by over 100,000 voters. These meetings have served as a gigantic morale boost for the Donald (who has been energized by the crowds). During the last few days of the campaign, he expressed regret that the experience was about to come to an end. No doubt the rallies served to counteract the negative tension produced by eight years of almost constant attacks by his enemies (including impeachments, indictments, smears, and assassination attempts). Perhaps even worse than even these blows, the press and the left regularly twisted and misrepresented his statements and denigrated his followers.
The Madison Square Garden event, for example, was characterized as being a NAZI rally (even though the rally began with the opening scene of the movie Patton in which George C. Scott, playing Patton, spoke long and hard about the importance of killing Nazis). When an edgy comedian, who did not represent the views of the many speakers, made an unfortunate and unexpected joke against Puerto Rico, Democrats were quick to condemn the entire several-hour-long event. Biden then made his own gaff by calling President Trump's followers “garbage.”
Trump then responded by putting on an orange vest and being driven around in a garbage truck. A line of garbage trucks then appeared parked outside of subsequent rallies. Voters began going to meetings wearing garbage bags. Democrats evidently didn't learn their lesson when Hillary called Trump followers “deplorables” and “irredeemables” and lost a few million votes as a result of her jabs. Biden therefore repeated the blunder.
One thing is certain. Trump has certainly put the lie to the charge by leftists that he is lazy. Last Saturday he spoke at three rallies. On Sunday he spoke at three more. Then on Monday he continued hopping from state to state and spoke at four rallies. Reporters found it next to impossible to keep up with him.
The Right Side Broadcasting Network (which can be viewed on YouTube) has covered every one of Trump's rallies in its entirety. The announcers on the channel, however, had to split up and head to multiple states during the last weekend in order to broadcast the 10 massive rallies conducted during those three days. The Donald, however, soldiered on (being careful to preserve his voice since it is common for speakers in the last week of a campaign to lose their voice).
Meanwhile, the notable black personality Silk, of “Diamond and Silk”, became a regular on RSBN urging the black community to vote for Trump. She was followed by her brother (who calls himself “Mr. Cotton”) singing “Won't Steal My Vote,” about refusing to vote Democrat while lauding the Donald for his presence in the “hood.”
RSBN is also covering J.D. Vance's speeches and town hall meetings. Unlike Democrat Harris, Vance fields questions from voters and reporters on the fly (without demanding a list of questions in advance).
For his part, Donald Trump took part in a three-hour podcast with Joe Rogan discussing topics as divergent as finance, world affairs, and wrestling. The meeting was totally unrehearsed and unscripted. The interview really highlighted the human side of Trump and gave him a boost in the ratings. Kamala Harris, on the other hand, refused to be interviewed by Rogan unless questions were limited to certain topics and she was given a list of questions in advance. She opted, instead, to appear on Saturday Night Live. One wonders how she would survive a talk with Putin.
