Where too many scum call home
I hope there is a clinical psychological study done one day on the sort of people who create anonymous FB pages and then pollute it with BS, attacking people, which include both public figures and private citizens.
They hide behind masks because they’re cowards. Nameless, faceless cowards who would run away in a gun fight even if it included their kids.
“Screw my children. I’m saving my @$$ first.”
Of course, most of these people are so socially dysfunctional, they seldom develop personal relationships, pleasuring themselves instead with online porn while still living at home as adults, still mooching off mom and dad.
Before Zuckerberg (allegedly) stole Facebook from three college students who had hired him to code the platform, with whom he later settled ($65 million) after a lawsuit was filed against him, people were far more civil than they are today because they lacked the means to attack people in anonymous fashion. They’d either get punched or sued. If they wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper, they would have to sign their name, and if the editor was doing his or her job, they would fact check the person to make sure he or she was legit.
Now, anyone can create a FB page, come up with an anonymous name, and blast everyone and everything with whom they hold a grudge. Brave people.
They filter their personal pages with lies, fabrications, ad-hominem attacks, halftruths; and truth be told, I think they get their jollies out of it, while they erect their latest BS post. Maybe they have a blowup doll sitting next to them named Betty Boob while they key stroke their latest post, who knows.
Of course, some of these anons are women, so maybe the blow-up doll is named Billy Boob, hard to say.
They ruin marriages, or at least cause dissension at home, by posting half-truths about on-the- job alleged sex harassment, while only telling one side of the story. They don’t know the other side, but they post the allegations anyway, giving no thought to the harm they do.
In their minds, they are truth tellers, defenders of communities, while in fact, they couldn’t find their rear with a map and a flashlight, GPS, even with the sun shining.
Their brains are atrophied from either too much alcohol, crack, meth, or as is most often the case, they were simply born brain damaged, while growing up in a dysfunctional home. In school, they were made fun of, and now it’s their turn to get back at people who cross their paths.
Zuck sucks, but he’s worth billions and offers them the platform, Facebook, to carry on their war against humanity, posing as legit journalists. Most of the time, they are either fully illiterate in the written word, or at least partially illiterate. They don’t know the difference between “it’s” and “its,” and “their” and “they’re,” much less, “you’re” and “your,” but they’re going to inform the public about the “truth,” even if they sometimes misspell it as “trooth.”
I had a woman call me recently who was the subject of one of these anonymous FB attacks. She asked: “What can I do?” Clearly upset, depressed, she said, “I’m not even a public figure.”
I told her, “Look, it may sound like a cliché, but you just have to ignore this scum. If people call you up to tell you what has just been posted on Facebook about you, tell them, please, you’d rather not discuss it. Number one, you can’t find out who they really are, and even if you did, most of the time, they are born losers with no assets, so filing a lawsuit is a waste of time and money. Just breathe deeply and ignore them. The people who really know you, won’t believe what they are saying about you. Plus, one day, Karma, God, call it what you will, will catch up with them. In the end, people usually do end up reaping what they sow.”
Next to the child molesters, I personally think these people, the anons on FB, rank right up there in terms of being the scum of the earth. If they were on fire, I wouldn’t bother to spit on them.
