WASHINGTON – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $49,900 in federal grant funding for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) for research on brain aging, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia. The funding will be used to study the impact and risk factors of each on people residing in low-resource settings and in low and middle-income countries.

AUSTIN — Gov. Greg Abbott on Feb. 20 established a clemency application specifically for survivors of human trafficking or domestic violence.
According to the CBS poll Bernie Sanders is the most likely Democrat to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming election. They have him as leading by four points at this time, although the same poll indicates fully two thirds of voters (including 90% of Republicans expect Trump to beat the Democrats in November.
