Special Olympics Texas recognized two students from the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District as Athletes of the Year.
On behalf of the Pharr Rotary Club, the organization would like to congratulate the following students for being chosen as the Rotary Students of the Month for November.
One person is talking into my left ear, telling me how great Dr. Rene Gutierrez is, as he’s set to begin work as McAllen ISD’s new superintendent next week, while another person is talking into my right ear, telling me that McAllen ISD made a mistake hiring him.
Over 70 educators from school districts in Indiana visited Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) on Nov. 8 & 9, 2023 to learn about its nationally recognized Early College Program and tour some of its successful early college high schools as part of the district’s PSJA “College for All” Learning Tours.
In an effort to provide students, families, and community members a safe space to partake in Halloween festivities while simultaneously bringing awareness to the importance of living a drug-free life, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District held its first-ever Trunk or Treat Bash on Oct. 30 at the PSJA Stadium.
