At McAllen ISD, Brianna Sanchez — who played on the Nikki Rowe volleyball team — signed her letter of intent May 19 to play at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.
Another athlete — Rick Reyna — signed his letter of intent on May 20 to compete in powerlifting at Midland University, which is located in Fremont, Nebraska. He was a student-athlete for McAllen Memorial.
