Senior slowpitch softball league seeks players

The Senior Texas Softball League is preparing for the 2021 season and is looking for men and women ages 55 and older to add to its 10 teams. Each league will have a 17-game schedule including playoffs.

The Senior A league is designed for top-ability and competitive players Games are held at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Senior B league is more recreation-oriented for adults of intermediate ability. Games are at 9 and 10 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

All games are played at Westside Park Complex on Ware Road in McAllen. Preseason begins Nov. 9. Regular season begins Jan. 2 and runs through mid-March.
