The UTRGV women’s basketball team traveled to California to compete in the inaugural Malibu Classic tournament which consisted of some tough squads.
The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros have got themselves in a good groove as they grabbed a commanding home win against the College of Biblical Studies on Saturday. UTRGV took the win, 109 51. The Vaq ueros were hitting on all cylinders as they marked up over 100 points for the second time this season.
PHARR — District play for 31-5A started off with two of the top teams in the Rio Grande Valley with PSJA North (14-8, 0-1) hosting the Sharyland Pioneer Diamondbacks (12-7, 1-0).
