UTRGV takes series, 2-0, against Texas Southern University

The UTRGV Vaqueros (5-8. 0-3) took a regular season series against the Texas Southern University Tigers during a home stretch in Edinburg.

On Wednesday, the Vaqueros took the commanding win, 10-4. The night before that, they won 5-3.

This weekend, starting on Friday, UTRGV will host a Southland Conference three-game series against New Orleans University.

The first game will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. Second game will be Saturday at the same time — then on Sunday, it will be at 1 p.m.

The Vaqueros will host the University of New Orleans tomorrow for their first game of a three-game Southland Conference series at UTRGV Baseball Stadium at 6:30 p.m. in Edinburg.

The next game will be on Saturday at the same time, same field. Then the final game of the conference series will be Sunday at 1 p.m.
