If you are a fan, though, you have to shake your head at these so-called sports pundits who are calling for Tiger Woods to retire after he missed the cut at this week’s Open across the pond, as they say.
When it comes to free publicity, it’s hard to beat having your story published on the front page of The New York Times, above the fold, no less, so that it’s the first thing people see when they pick up the paper or log into its online paid account ($1 per week for a year’s subscription).
Anyone who follows the local, national news on a regular basis already knows that one of the world’s three richest people, Elon Musk, 53, is saying adios to California, packing up all of his business interests and moving to Texas.
Never, ever have I seen my fellow Americans in need of a tranquilizer. Make it a bottle with three refills. Valium, 10 mg. Just don’t mix them with alcohol, or you may not be here come November.
