“Sealed” with a “Kist”
This week Cinderella is proud to offer a couple of great pets--one pooch and one puss.
Selkie is an unusual looking dog--long and low to the ground, with a brownish-black coat, and short little tail, who bears a passing resemblance to a seal. In fact, she is named for a creature from Norse/Celtic mythology who could change from a seal into a human. She is actually a cross between a Basset Hound and a Lab who was born in September 2019.
She won’t be changing into a human, but she could easily be your new best friend, companion and confidant. She’ll sit on your lap if you let her, or walk happily by your side, making every walk an adventure.
Sunkist is a very handsome young cat, born in August 2020, with a caramel-colored coat and a mellow personality. He’s used to being around other cats (his siblings) and friendly dogs that are part of his foster family. He’s interested in observing and sometimes participating in human activities, but his favorite thing is finding a friendly lap to sit in, cuddle up and purr in. Take a look in his big gold eyes and you just may be convinced that he’s the cat for you.
Like all the pets we offer for adoption, Selkie and Sunkist are neutered. Both are up-to-date on their shots. Call us today at 391-4399 for more information, or check out all our dogs and cats at www.cinderella-pet-rescue. org.
Kittens and Puppies: We have more adorable, adoptable kittens (including Sunkist’s siblings) available right now and a litter of super-cute Min-Pin/Terrier cross puppies who will be available in mid-February. See them all on our website today! Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the “Dogs” page to see the puppies.
Cinderella is a private, non-profit organization, staffed by volunteers, and funded primarily by donations. We especially need your donations now so we can keep serving the many homeless pets under our care. We believe that every pet deserves a happy home and hope that you or someone you know can provide that for at least one of the animals in our care.
