EDINBURG, Texas — The Museum of South Texas History will host the Sunday Speaker Series presentation, “Rode Hard: The Rise and Fall of a Jockey Legend,” featuring Manuel Hinojosa at 2 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the museum’s Courtyard Gallery.
Herberto “Herbie” Hinojosa is not a household name by the likes of Mickey Mantle or Babe Ruth, but he was legend in the horse racing circuit.
