SAN JUAN – Last week, San Juan city officials held a press conference to announce that the city would be canceling the Noche de Paz festivities as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19, and instead would celebrate the holiday season by continuing last year’s lighting of the Christmas Tree tradition.
