The Pharr City Commission approved a proclamation declaring March 28, 2026, as Children’s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo County Day, recognizing the critical work of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo and Starr Counties in supporting children affected by abuse. The proclamation was presented to Pat Blum and Executive Director Nadia Ochoa. “Our goal is to restore the children and families that are affected through hope, healing, and justice,” said Blum.
