Palm Valley Animal Society recently announced that it will be hosting a first-ever, low-cost spay and neuter clinic beginning on Nov. 17.The clinic, which is available for the public is an initiative by PVAS to address the region’s ongoing pet overpopulation crisis.Suzette Cruz, executive director of PVAS, said the shelter has experience in these types of surgeries “Our shelter has been performing thousands of spay and neuter surgeries each year for animals already in our care,” Cruz said. “Now, for the first time, we’re extending that care to the public.
