With December finally here, some local entities are getting into the holiday spirit for the local community.The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, along with Hidalgo County Precinct 4 are linking up to host a toy giveaway and holiday celebration today.The event will be held at the Alfonso Flores All Star Park in Edinburg. The park is located at 107 Sunflower Road. It will be from 5 to 9 p.m.The event will be free. Both groups are looking to “spread holiday joy” by creating a special evening for the local children.
