Hidalgo County offers free preparedness training Wednesday

EDINBURG – The Hidalgo County Office of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the Sheriff's Office, has launched the "Prepared Not Scared" initiative to bring preparedness training to the residents of rural Hidalgo County. Both agencies are committed to working closely with rural residents through various community outreach projects along with partners such as ARISE, LUPE, and Proyecto Azteca.
