EDINBURG – Mario E. Ramirez Jr., presiding judge of the 332nd District Court was honored as one of the 2019 Distinguished Law Graduates by St. Mary’s University Law Alumni Association. Ramirez, who earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1975, has presided over the 332nd Judicial District of Texas, Edinburg since the court was established in 1983. Ramirez also serves as the Overseer of the Juvenile Probation Department, which he has done for over 36 years, and in 2008, the newly constructed Juvenile Justice Center was dedicated in his honor.
