EDINBURG, Texas — The Museum of South Texas History presents ¡Cascarón!, an Easter celebration, Saturday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.Mariachi performances by Barrientes Middle School Mariachi Azteca Rojo and South Middle School Mariachi Sur, directed by Juan Amaro, will kick off the event at 11 a.m.The museum’s annual event will also include the region’s tradition of decorating “cascarones,” or painting eggshells filled with confetti.
