EDINBURG – Precinct 3 Commissioner Joe M. Flores, in partnership with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, will hold a Ribbon Cutting for the grand re-opening of Katrina Park in Peñitas. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10:30 a.m. In 2018, Precinct 3 was awarded a $30,000 “Meet Me at the Park” grant from The Walt Disney Company in support of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and Disney’s combined goal of providing one million kids and families with greater access to play.
