Pets of the week
James is a senior Labrador mix that loves and adores everyone. He enjoys being outdoors and playing with other dogs. James likes it when you throw squeaky toys: he’ll go grab them and take them to his bed to chew on later. Please help us by sharing his photo so he can find his forever home. He wants to live the rest of his life in a home with a loving family, not in the shelter all alone!
The cat-in-progress, Stripes, has done so well since we saw her in last week’s edition of Pets of the Week. She still has some timidity issues, but she’s definitely more comfortable around strangers, rubbing and loving on visitors as long as she’s approached gently. Stripes has been with us since June and is still looking for a place to call home. Consider fostering or adopting her today! pvastx.org/fosteR
Meet this beautiful girl named Truffles! She is just a joy to be with because she is so bubbly. Truffles loves back rubs, booping you with her head, and sitting on your lap. Her favorite treats are Friskies Temptations and playing with catnip toys. This beauty would do perfect in a single or multi-cat household; she is not picky. Come over today and mention you saw this cutie in the paper. She looks forward to seeing you!!
We know when you get home from a long day’s work, you want to sit and relax by the TV and cuddle with your favorite animal. Look no further because Paige can be your cuddle bug! She’s a gentle girl that would be great with other dogs as she has done well in our doggy playgroup sessions. Adopt, foster, or take her on a playdate for at least a couple of hours. pvastx/how-to-adopt
Mrs Jingles is a very calm & quiet young lady, at only 1 year-old, who does well with other dogs. She would be a great addition to any family. If you would like to take her out of the shelter for a couple of hours, sign up for our “Tails Around Town” program. https://www.pvastx.org/tails-around-town
