Thanks to Hidalgo County Emergency Management and the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, rural county residents have access to valuable information on preparedness through a new initiative that offers trainings on personal and family preparedness.
Emergency Management Coordinator Ricardo Saldaña, under the direction of Emergency Management Director and County Judge Richard F. Cortez, sponsored a proclamation recognizing all the departments and agencies involved in the “Prepared Not Scared” preparedness trainings.
