PHARR — National nonprofit organization The Molina Foundation has awarded PSJA ISD a grant that offers the district about 35,400 books as part of their Families Learning Together Program.
The Families Learning Together program was created as a way to provide resources to help children, parents and families create word-filled homes by reading and learning together. To date, The Molina Foundation has sent 294,550 books worth more than $2.48 million to Texas this year. Of these, nearly 220,000 books worth more than $1.9 million have benefited children and families in the Rio Grande Valley.
