EDINBURG — March has been declared “National Pet Vaccination Month” to help encourage pet parents to keep their pets current on vaccinations. Like vaccines for people, pet vaccines protect animals from many dangerous and sometimes fatal diseases.To celebrate, Palm Valley Animal Society is partnering with The City of Edinburg and The County of Hidalgo along with national partners Petco Love, Bissell Pet Foundation, PetSmart Charities, Banfield Foundation, Boehringer Ingelheim, Heal House Call Veterinarians, and Raising Cane's for a three-day, no cost, vaccine and microchip event at Edinburg Municipal Park, 714 S.
