EDINBURG – Palm Valley Animal Society (PVAS) recently received a donation of massive proportions from the Greater Good Charities Rescue Bank. The donation came by truck early Thursday morning (12/10/2020) containing 16 pallets of pet food, 5 pounds of cat litter, and other goods which PVAS intends to use for their monthly Pet Pantry Drive-Thru occurring the 3rd Saturday of every calendar month. Palm Valley Animal Society would like to think Greater Good Charities Rescue Bank for their epic donation, which totaled nearly 8 tons of pet food (16,000 pounds), roughly 1,000 pounds per pallet.
