On Friday, May 19, 2023, surrounded by family, friends, and administrators, Osvaldo Martinez, a senior at Vanguard Rembrandt Secondary, signed a letter of intent to represent Allan College in track and cross country. Osvaldo’s signing an athletic letter of intent is not only a goal reached by one of Rembrandt’s top athletes but also a milestone for Vanguard Academy being the first athlete to receive an athletic scholarship to continue pursuing his educational goals as part of a college’s athletic program.
