Ultralights: True freedom

Recently, I wrote a flying column about losing my medical certificate due to health problems, and how bummed out I was over it. A grounded airman is not a happy airman. Now, however, I am once again stoked, to use an old surfing expression. Why? One word: Ultralights. They are, without a doubt, the closest thing a pilot can get to feeling like a bird.
