MISSION – A World War II veteran who never received the military medals that he earned will finally get the honor during a Pinning Ceremony 75 years after the war ended. Veteran George Gamboa will be honored with the Occupation, and Victory Medal V at a Pinning Ceremony hosted by the Hidalgo County Veterans Service Office.
