Cinderella Pet Rescue would like to wish everyone a very happy holiday season and say a big thank you for your support in our efforts to find homes for neglected, abandoned, or abused dogs and cats.

Oh, come on. I’m ready to go to bed, but I have to take one of the dogs out for one last round of urination. Beats the carpet. Then, lo and behold, as I open the back door, what drops onto the kitchen floor but a spider. Maybe the size of a nickel. So I call to my wife: “Can you please bring me a cup and a piece of paper.”

The PSJA Education Foundation surprised dozens of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD educators during its annual Mini Grant Prize Patrol, awarding $38,675 in Teacher Mini-Grants to support innovative classroom projects across the district. Held December 15–16, 2025, the initiative recognized 40 PSJA educators for ideas designed to enhance student learning and expand opportunities for all.
