Cinderella’s Cats of Change: Oliver and Simba

Change is good. But sometimes, change is hard. Finding yourself with an empty nest when the kids go off to college or working at home without seeing other people during the day can be challenging, even for the most independent of people. This week Cinderella is offering a couple of brother cats–Oliver and Simba, who are looking for a forever home where they can be showered with love and attention. In return, they promise to brighten up your life with their charming feline antics, and lots of affection too!

Pets of the week

Howdy! My name is Noodles. I am an energetic and bouncy doggy who loves playing with all dogs and toys. I am extremely active, curious, and super smart. I would be a great match for an active owner who will enjoy my energy and desire to be out to explore the world!

Why are so many turtles dying?

Probably the only upshot to South Padre Island’s famed turtle lady, Ila Fox Loetscher, no longer being with us, is the fact that she would no doubt be heartbroken to see today’s wave of sea turtles washing up dead along Texas beaches. Granted, the Turtle Lady paid special attention to the smallest of sea turtles, the Kemp’s Ridley, and the ones currently under duress are the loggerhead turtles, but she loved them all.
