— Edinburg Rotary recently awarded The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, Inc. a $5,000 donation. The donation was given in support of the Food Bank RGV’s Empty Bowls Luncheon and Silent Auction presented by H-E-B Hunger Relief.
I love both dogs and cats, but when it comes to “cool,” cats take the cake. Garfield, from the comic strip, is a perfect example. He’s a cool cat, laid back, while his bumbling dog companion, Odie, is lovable, but not the brightest bulb in the box. Okay, Snoopy is one cool dog, but he is a one-off, a one of a kind.
This week, Cinderella is featuring two very sweet female dogs, Brandi and Macon. Both are young and energetic and oh-so-ready for their forever homes!
