The Pharr Centennial Lions Club — a local nonprofit organization — recently received an emergency grant from the Texas Lions Foundation to aid in recovery efforts following the tragic flood that hit the region in late March.

Cinderella Pet Rescue has a big variety of pets available for loving people looking for a four-legged friend. This week we are pleased to feature Nimbus, a well-mannered three year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Eden, a young female tabby kitten, just starting out in life.
