If you’re looking for a canine companion, take a look at these two young females, Glitter and June, either one of which would make a great pet. Glitter, an Australian Cattle Dog/ Blue Heeler cross with personality plus, is just a little over two years old. She is energetic, athletic and eager for a human to love. She has intelligent brown eyes with black eye patches, funny semi-floppy black ears and a salt and pepper coat. She loves to run and play and would love to join you for long walks or car rides. She’d even be happy just hanging out with you and being your best buddy.

McALLEN – For the past several years, Quinta Mazatlán has organized Monarch Fest, a memorable family festival to celebrate the migration of monarch butterflies through South Texas. This year, Monarch Fest anticipates over 3,000 attendees across generations, with the allure of its fascinating addition: A Pollination Celebration! Monarch Fest is set for Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Quinta Mazatlán, 600 Sunset Drive. Tickets are $5.00 per person, with children 2 years of age and younger free.
