Small business owners in Mission who want the chance to apply and learn about grants can do so this Tuesday.
Last Wednesday, Vanguard Academy was awarded the 20242025 Stronger Connections Grant through Texas Education Agency, worth $1,000,000. The grant will be used to continue to fund Vanguard Academy’s Student Support Program (SSP) at Vanguard Academy Mozart Secondary and Elementary campuses. Vanguard Academy is one of 10 school systems in Region One that received this grant.
The City of Pharr has been awarded a $1 million grant from Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. to help close the digital divide.
