PHARR – Rocking poodle skirts and vintage 50s outfits, over 650 Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA) alumni, staff, and parents united for the Centennial Sock Hop Dance hosted at the Pharr Events Center on Oct. 24. The dance was one of several events planned to celebrate the district’s 100-year legacy during the 2019-2020 school year. The event had free admission and featured community members and PSJA ISD alumni from several classes that drove from near and far to attend.
