SAN JUAN - The City of San Juan will be upgrading the San Juan Municipal Park to make improvements to the existing baseball and softball fields. The proposed project includes turf on infields and grass in outfields. These improvements include the removal of existing dirt, installation of drainage and irrigation system, and the turf installation for two fields. The proposed upgrades are estimated around $500,000. “This is an investment in our city that we are dedicated to make to increase opportunities for our San Juan children and families to enjoy,” said Mayor Mario Garza.
