Special to the AdvanceAs the City of Edinburg looks forward to the 4th Annual Hometown of Heroes Half-Marathon, city officials are excited to reveal the 13 residents chosen to represent each mile marker along the race route at a conference on Thursday at Edinburg City Hall.The public is invited to join the city for the unveil at 6 p.m. as the city highlights and recognizes the people who were nominated and chosen for their public service and contributions.The race is set for March 3 at 7 a.m. at the Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department at 315 Mark S. Pena Drive.
