Staff ReportAdvance News JournalPHARR — Starting tonight, overnight closures of the “Harlingen to Edinburg” direct connector at the Pharr Interchange will begin to take place.The closures will be for the removal of concrete barriers and roadway striping, a traffic advisory notice by Dragados-Pulice Joint Venture said. The connector that merges I-2 westbound traffic onto I-69C north will be closed nightly until Jan. 27.The schedule for the closures is as follows:Monday through Thursday: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.Friday: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.Saturday: 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.Sunday: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.The work being conducted is weather permitting.“Drivers are reminded ...
