— A Hidalgo County Jury found an Alamo man guilty on three counts of sexual abuse of a child and he was sentenced to 25 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division.A jury trial was held for Miguel Angel Chavez, 59, from October 3 to October 6 in the 206th District Court. After deliberations, the jury found Chavez guilty on October 6. The Honorable Judge Rose Guerra Reyna sentenced Chavez to 25 years in prison on October 12.Chavez was found guilty of Count One – Sex Abuse of Child Continuous: Victim under 14 (1st degree felony);
