EDINBURG – A 50-yearold man from Edinburg with underlying medical conditions died after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Monday. This marks the seventh person in Hidalgo County to die with COVID-19 related complications.
In addition to Monday’s death, another dozen people in Hidalgo County tested positive for this strain of coronavirus. This brings the total number of positive cases in the county to 353 people.
