Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents discover 39 migrants harbored in two stash houses in the Upper Valley.On Oct. 18, at approximately 2 p.m., agents in coordination with Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies, approached a Peñitas residence suspected of harboring illegally present migrants. As a result, 26 migrants from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador were found in a run-down house with limited access to basic necessities. The migrants were taken into Border Patrol custody.
