PHARR — U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility and at the Anzalduas International Bridge detected $828,000 worth of alleged cocaine and methamphetamine and arrested two persons in connection with two separate failed drug smuggling attempts.
“Utilizing inspection skill, experience, high tech tools and conducting thorough examinations of passenger vehicles and commercial trucks allow our officers to discover concealed narcotics as demonstrated by these recent interceptions of hard narcotics,” said Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Port of Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas.
