City Manager Dr. Jonathan B. Flores announced that the City of Pharr continues to experience strong economic growth, with sales tax collections increasing 5.85% year-to-date compared to the same period last year and 8.28% higher than collections received in June 2025. For Fiscal Year 2025 2026, year-to-date sales tax revenues have increased by 6.15%. The City is currently performing ahead of projections, with sales tax collections running 2.68% above budget.
