McALLEN – Earlier this year, the McAllen City Commission approved the creation of a community toolshed, a program where McAllen residents can borrow – for free – various lawn and garden tools and equipment for residential beautification. The McAllen Community Tool Shed has lawnmowers, weed eaters, manual pole pruners, hand pruners, metal rakes, leaf rakes, loppers, power washers, push brooms, garden shovels, spade shovels, wheelbarrows, hammers, and recycling bags.
