McALLEN – In an effort to improve aesthetics and the visitor experience in downtown McAllen, City of McAllen crews will be removing gum from sidewalks starting on Monday, July 19, 2021. Crews will be utilizing a combination of power washing equipment and gum removal steamer to safely remove the gum from the sidewalks.
