Common scam being reported by Edinburg residents

EDINBURG — The Edinburg Police Department has received several calls recently in reference to citizens being scammed of their money. The Edinburg Police Department wants to educate the public on this scam and urge them to watch out for the red flags that they are being scammed. Most recently a victim reported that he received a call in reference to an ‘outstanding warrant’ that he may have.
